#tell_us (#zeigenSieauf) – the ACA issues another call for citizen participation
Since 2017, the Austrian Court of Audit (ACA) has invited the citizens to submit their audit suggestions.
There are three ways to send your audit suggestions to the ACA:
- Via email to: buergerbeteiligung@rechnungshof.gv.at
- As a direct message via Facebook: @rechnungshofat
- As well as by post to: Rechnungshof Österreich, reference: Bürgerbeteiligung, Dampfschiffstraße 2, 1031 Vienna
The suggestions received via the #zeigenSieauf (#tell_us) campaign will be accepted from 5 July to 2 August 2021.
As regards the selection of audit topics, the following criteria are relevant for the auditors:
- Risk potential
- Levels of expenditure
- Change of key indicators
- Current events
- Special public interest
- Preventive effect
All suggestions are examined. Taking into account the above-mentioned criteria, we decide whether your suggestion will feed into the ACA's audit programme.
