Asset Management of Selected Health and Accident Insurance Institutions; Follow-up Audit

In May and June 2016, the Austrian Court of Audit (ACA) reviewed the state of implementation of the recommendations it had issued in the framework of its audit regarding the “Asset Management of Selected Health and Accident Insurance Institutions”. Of 13 reviewed recommendations, the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection, the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Federal Ministry of Health and Women’s Affairs implemented eleven recommendations fully or partially. The General Accident Insurance Institution (AUVA) put all twelve reviewed recommendations either fully or partially into practice. The Upper Austrian General Health Insurer (OÖGKK) implemented eleven of the twelve reviewed recommendations. The Austrian Social Insurance Authority (SVA) implemented twelve of the 13 reviewed recommendations fully or partially.
