Pension Rights of Civil Servants of the Austrian Federal Railways (Österreichische Bundesbahnen, ÖBB); Follow-up Audit

From April to June 2017, the Austrian Court of Audit carried out a follow-up audit at the Austrian Federal Railways (Österreichische Bundesbahnen – ÖBB, ÖBB-Holding AG and ÖBB-Business Competence Center GmbH) and at the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology to assess the implementation of the recommendations it had issued in the framework of its preceding audit “Pension Rights of Civil Servants of the Austrian Federal Railways” (volume Federation 2015/4). Of the six assessed recommendations, the ministry had implemented one fully and five not at all. The ÖBB had implemented the one implementation that had been addressed to it.
