Municipality of Schwechat and Multiversum Schwechat Betriebs GmbH; Follow-up Audit

In September 2016, the Austrian Court of Audit carried out a follow-up audit at the municipality of Schwechat to assess the state of implementation of the recommendations it had issued in the framework of its preceding audit “Municipality of Schwechat and Multiversum Schwechat Betriebs GmbH” (volume Lower Austria 2014/5) in 2014. Of the 30 audited recommendations, the municipality of Schwechat implemented 19 either fully or in part. In two cases the implementation of the recommendation could not be assessed since the circumstances had changed.
