Compensatory Allowances under Pension Insurance; Follow-up Audit

From May to June 2017, the Austrian Court of Audit carried out a follow-up audit at the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection to assess the implementation of the recommendations it had issued in the framework of its preceding audit “Compensatory Allowances under Pension Insurance” (volume Federation 2015/9).

Of the 13 assessed recommendations, the ministry had implemented five fully, one partially and seven not at all. Of nine recommendations, the Main Association of Austrian Social Security Organisations had implemented five fully, one partially and three not at all. Of twelve recommendations, the Pension Insurance Organisation had implemented five fully, one partially and six not at all. Of eleven recommendations, the Statutory Insurance Institute for Farmers had implemented four fully, one partially and six not at all.
