Mag. Dr. Pia Abel, MBA
The officers are each commissioned for a period of five years by the president of the ACA and are entrusted with safeguarding equal treatment and the promotion of women in the ACA. The compliance officer deals with queries, requests, complaints, notifications or proposals on issues of equal treatment from ACA employees.
Every second year the compliance officer prepares a draft for the Plan for the Promotion of Women according to § 11a paragraph 2 und 3 of the Federal Equal Treatment Act for consideration by the president of the ACA. This plan contains targets for the ACA regarding equal treatment. The president then issues, pursuant to § 11a paragraph 1 of the Federal Equal Treatment Act, the ACA's Plan for the Promotion of Women, which is published in the Federal Law Gazette (F.L.G. II - lately in F.L.G. II No 118/2010).
The compliance officer informs new entrants or those returning from maternity leave on the provisions laid down by the Federal Equal Treatments Act and the equal treatment of men and women in the ACA. The compliance officer, the deputy compliance officer and the liasion officer can be contacted for advice on areas of equal treatment and for support of employees.
